Anita Briem is an Icelandic actress . Anita Breim is an actress from Iceland. Briem began her acting career at age 9 in the National Theater in Iceland. As a youngster, she was involved in many radio and TV productions, shows and other productions in Iceland. Briem, then 16, moved to London and was a part of an production called Lenin In Love for the New End Theater. Briem received a place at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art when she was 19-years-old. The next three years, she was a student at the school and graduated with a drama degree and an award called the John Barton Prize for Scenic Fight. Briem was a part of a variety of plays at RADA such as The Cherry Garden, by Anton Chekhov, and Bernarda Alba's House, written composed by Federico Garcia Lorca.
